Bustos Votes for Special Congressional Exemption

Did you see this?

All I can do is shake my head...

As many of you know, Obamacare has an exemption for Members of Congress. They're exempt from the individual mandate and all that jazz.

So in the midst of voting for a government shutdown, Bustos took another curious vote. She rejected a bipartisan amendment that would have nullified that exemption. It would have made Members of Congress subject to Obamacare like everyone else.

And Bustos voted no.

Bustos voted to keep her special congressional health care and exempt herself from Obamacare.

Really? So if you like Obamacare so much, why won't you let it apply to you, Cheri?

What's good for the people should be good for our politicians. But as far as Cheri Bustos is concerned, she feels exempt.
